ARTISTS - Recycled Glass Challenge at Art281

The San Antonio Glass Art Guild invites its members to enter a Recycled Glass Art Challenge. Artists must be active members of the SAGAG. Entries must be handmade glass, functional craft, art, or jewelry made with a minimum of 80% recycled glass.

Artwork must have been completed within the last year and must be available for display on the day of the exhibition for juroring. Artists must deliver and pick up artwork the day of the exhibit or make arrangements for this to be done for them. Any artwork not picked up at the end of the event will be property of SAGAG.

Pieces are to be judged on: Creative and original use of materials, execution of design, quality and overall impression of the art/craft.

Eligibility:

Artwork must have been completed within the last year and must be available for display on the day of the exhibition for juroring. Fees:

$10 per piece with a maximum of 3 pieces

Commission:

- Artwork does not have to be for sale at the exhibition.

- If a work is sold, SAGAG will retain 10% of the sale.

Applications Process:

2. Complete one entry form for each item submitted. Artist’s statement is encouraged but not required.

3. Bring completed form, fee, and your entry to Art281 Check-in Desk by 10am on October 12, 2013.
